Cello — bionic travel kit
part of "Chwasty" exhibition organised as part of Gdynia Design Days [curated by Megi Malinowska, Aleksandra Andrzejewska, Monika Rosińska]
software: Rhinoceros + Grasshopper, Blender, Photoshop
supervision: Monika Rosińska, Aleksandra Andrzejewska
It's a modular travel toiletry kit designed for makeup tools that need cleaning after each use. Thanks to its openings, washed items can dry while on the go.
Inspired by the intricate beauty of plant cells seen under a microscope, the design reflects the hidden patterns of nature's architecture. It transforms a microscopic perspective into a tangible object, inviting a closer connection to the organic world.
Thanks to its modular dimensions, the user can assemble their own set of components or purchase additional boxes at any time. The base consists of end pieces, with any number of modules that can be added between them. Additionally, the user can customize the pattern and size of the openings.
